Submit your poster suggestions, based on the winning theme, in pdf form for our next Perioperative Nurses Week .  Email your submission to info@ornac.ca 

Deadline for submissions is  END JUNE 2023!!

The winning poster will be chosen based on creativity and relevance to the theme from all submissions received by the deadline . The winning poster will be available for all members and associates to download, will be highlighted during Perioperative Nurses Week activites, and published in the ORNAC Newsletter/Journal.

PRIZE-Winner will receive one registration to the 2025 ORNAC Conference.

VIDEO AND WRITTEN CONTEST (Open to Members and Associates) January 15th-September 1st

ORNAC would like to hear and see your thoughts and ideas and encourages you to enter our contest and submit either a written piece, or a short video that reflects your understanding of the chosen theme.  Get out your devices and demonstrate how your team lives and celebrates the year's Perioperative Nurses Week theme.

Deadline for submissions is September 1, 2023

PRIZES-Winners will be announced during Perioperative Nurses Week 

Video    1st - 3-2025 conference registrations;

              2nd- 1 copy of the ORNAC Standards (hard copy or electronic)

Your video  will be shown during the opening ceremonies at the next ORNAC conference and you or your team will be featured in the newsletter or ORNAC Journal.  

Prizes are non-transferable and are only allocated to members who contributed to the production of the submission. If the team is greater then 3 contributors, all team members will be acknowledged. It is up to the discretion of the team to allocate the complimentary registrations.

Written (500 word limit) 1 st - 1-2025 conference registration;

                                        2nd- 1 copy Standards (hard copy or electronic) 

Prizes are non-transferable and are only allocated to onw member who contributed to the production of the submission. If there is greater then 1 contributor, all team members will be acknowledged. It is up to the discretion of the team to allocate the complimentary registrations.

First place will receive 3 complimentary full registrations for the 2021 ORNAC National Conference in Victoria, BC. Your video  will be shown during the opening ceremonies at the conference and you or your teams will be featured in the March 2021 issue of the ORNAC Journal.

JUDGING

Submissions will be judged by the ORNAC Standards Committee and the ORNAC Board of Directors based on the following:

Written

Video

Relevance: the annual theme is highlighted with enthusiasm and passion

Best Practices: the content reflects best practices and adheres to the ORNAC Standards, Guideline, Position Statements for Registered Nurses (current edition)

Inspiration: the content inspires.

Communication: the topic is presented in a clear, concise and confident manner.

Creativity: video has creative elements.

 

Production: video quality is clear, easily visualized and the sound can be heard clearly.
