Providing leadership to the multi-disciplinary team, this position facilitates the coordination of a comprehensive range of clinical activities, ensuring effective and appropriate use of resources. The Clinical Services Manager acts as the communication liaison between members of the multi-disciplinary team as well as other health care professionals and administrative personnel outside the Operating Room. As a leader, role model and coach, the Clinical Services Manager assists staff with professional development and achievement of program goals aligned with strategic directions. This individual will take a long-range view of operations and patient service delivery. The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for monitoring the operating plan within the portfolio and collaborates in the development of the annual operating plan, identifying trends, issues and risk. Qualifications: As the ideal candidate you are a Registered Nurse with a minimum three to five years Operating Room experience. You must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Health care management experience and/or a Master’s Degree or evidence of working towards is also preferred. Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills. Commitment to the professional and organizational vision as it pertains to clinical practice and patient care.
