International Event 6th EORNA Congress 2012European Operating Room Nurses Association 6th Congress - "Sailing to the Future" The Organizing Committee and EORNA are happy to announce the organization of the 6th Congress of the European Operating Room Nurses Association, to be held in Lisboa, Portugal on the 26 -29 April 2012. “Sailing to the future” is the theme of this congress, attended by specialized perioperative nurses from most countries in Europe as well as representatives from de US, Australia, Japan and Russia. The organization expects that approximately 2200 participants will be present in Lisboa, many of them senior managers and budget holders within hospitals, private clinics and community areas. The Organizing Committee is preparing an interesting educational, networking and cultural experience for all. The Scientific Committee is planning a diverse programme to provide a rich educational opportunity for all delegates. This will include oral and poster presentations. Workshops will also be a feature. The international medical devices industry exhibition will be another key attraction for the delegates giving access to some of the most up to date technology and information in the field. This congress offers a great opportunity to renew old acquaintances and meet new friends, share experience and information in the interests of expanding the knowledge and enhancement of patient care.
