Welcome to the N&LORNA web site

N&LORNA is the Newfoundland and Labrador Operating Room Nurses Association. It is a special interest group of the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL) and is a member of the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC).

The objectives of N&LORNA are:

1. To provide opportunity for itís members to continue their professional growth, thus providing better care for patients undergoing surgical intervention.
2. To promote communication between members throughout the province.
3. To promote implementation of National Standards for Perioperative Nursing Practice.
4. To promote Mission, Values and Vision Statements of ORNAC.
5. To promote National Perioperative Nurses Day.
