PRESIDENT (PRNABC) Marlene Weeks RN, BScN, MHS, CPN(C), RNFA Marlene Weeks is employed as a perioperative staff nurse at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. She has been active with PRNABC since becoming a perioperative nurse in 1999, which has included regional, Executive, and conference planning committee positions both at the provincial and national level. She is also the BC RNFA representative, reviews articles for CORNJ and is now the ORNAC Awards Chair. Marlene has been nursing since 1995 and served as a nurse in the Canadian Military in diverse clinical and administrative positions prior to coming to the perioperative setting. |

PRESIDENT (ORNAA) Kelly M Kuz RN, BScN, MN, CPN(C) Kelly is the Regional Perioperative Clinical Nurse Specialist for the former Peace County Health Region, now known as Alberta Health Services. She has a passion for perioperative nursing and has worked as a staff nurse in a surgical suite, a program developer and educator at a local college, and now as perioperative CNS focusing on research, education, consultation, administration, and advanced practice. She is co-chair of the ORNAC Standards Committee and represents ORNAC at the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Sterilization Technical Committee. Kelly is privileged to represent ORNAA at the ORNAC board. |

PRESIDENT ELECT (ORNAA) Barb Mushayandebvu RN, CPN(C) Barbara is presently working full time in Calgary, as a staff nurse, and has been nursing for the last 25 years. She has Perioperative Nursing experience in various areas of specialties including general duty, Clinical leader and Clinical Nurse Educator. Barbara has worked in several OR environments in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the UK, bringing to the ORNAC Board a global perspective on Perioperative Nursing practice. It is an honour to be representing the hardworking, dedicated , passionate Perioperative Nurses of Alberta. |

PRESIDENT (ORNAO) Kathy Radcliffe RN, CPN(C) Kathy has been a perioperative Registered Nurses for the past 30 yrs. She has held positions as general staff, management and post diploma OR program faculty. Kathy's areas of responsibility as CP&E clinician include OR, Preoperative Clinic and Same Day Surgery Unit. She has been an active member in both regional and provincial executives committees of ORNAO and provincial conference planning committees. Kathy looks forward to representing ORNAO on the ORNAC board. |

PRESIDENT ELECT (ORNAO) Anita Esson RN, BScN, RNFA, CPN(C) Anita is employed at the Sault Area Hospital as a full-time RNFA/RN. She has been a perioperative nurse for 24 years, working as a staff nurse, RNFA and team leader. She has been an active member on the local and provincial boards. She completed an RNAO Clinical Fellowship in 2004, and was the 2008 recipient of the ORNAO/J&J scholarship/bursary. Anita is looking forward to an exciting and informative term on the ORNAC Board. |

PRESIDENT (CIISOQ/CORNQ) Aline Gagnon RN, BSc, RNFA Aline has been active in Perioperative care since 1990. She has had a wide diversity of responsibilities in the O.R. including charge nurse for ORL and neurological surgery, nurse educator, and Nurse First Surgical Assistance, principally in vascular and general surgery. Aline is among the first nurses in Quebec to achieve the NFSAG qualification. She has been an active member of NFSAG since 1997 and has held the title of Treasurer since 2002. In addition, Aline was elected Vice President of the Provincial O.R nurses (CORNQ) in 2006 and has held this position until recently when she was elected President of CORNQ. Aline has been a passionate advocate of professional nursing Practices and Standards. She has collaborated closely with the Quebec Order of Nurses towards their development and professional recognition in the area of Perioperative care. Aline is also a member of the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Response Unit (ERU). |

PRESIDENT ELECT (CIISOQ/CORNQ) Line Michaud RN, BSc Since 1979 Line has been nursing at Enfant-Jésus Hospital in Quebec City, a major trauma center for Eastern Quebec. She joined the Operating Room nursing team in 1987 where she has worked in all specialties. For many years she has held the post of interim assistant head nurse, evenings, requiring her to coordinate all O.R. activities. When working days, she rotates into maxillo-facial surgery while tending to her responsibilities as team leader for maxillo-facial, ORL, and Urology surgical specialties. Line adores sharing her knowledge and experience with her colleagues who know her for her dynamic and jovial disposition. She is a member of numerous nursing team committees such as for the creation of the O.R. teaching handbook, the social club, and other social activities for her Operating Room. Line was the Publicity Director on the Organizing Committee for the Provincial O.R. Nurses Convention, recently held in Quebec City. It is from this venue that Line derived her interest to implicate herself in the provincial body of the O.R. Nurses of Quebec. Line adores her profession and believes in the primal importance of her role as a member of the peri-operative care team. |

PRESIDENT (NBORN) Vanna Wasson R.N., B.N., CPN(c) Vanna is President of New Brunswick (NBORN) and N.B.'s representative on the ORNAC Board. Vanna has many years experience in nursing in ICU, OR and has worked as staff nurse, educator and manager. Presently she is Nurse Manager for River Valley Health at Oromocto Public Hospital. |

PRESIDENT ELECT (NBORN) Charlotte Roach R.N. CPN(c) Currently the Peri-operative Nurse Manager of the OR, PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-op Clinic at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville and the Hotel Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital in Perth, New Brunswick. Charlotte has been a Peri-operative Nurse since 1991, and completed the post-basic Peri-operative Nursing Course from the Moncton City Hospital in 1995. She has held CNA Certification since 1995. She is an active member of NBORN since 1993 holding previous position on the Board and Executive and is the current President-Elect. |
